Welcome to Abbey Road 

 

Abbey Road and Sherborn are unique and wonderful places, so this website was created to share some helpful facts and thoughts about them.

New to the Abbey Road Community?

You already know you’ve moved into a small, 18-unit condominium association. We residents are a comfortable mix. Some of us are not-quite-yet senior; others are already comfortably so. Abbey Road is a friendly place with casual social events, usually in our central courtyard. Weather permitting, we gather for drinks (BYOB) in the courtyard on Thursdays at 4:30 p.m.

Inside our "New Here?" section, you will find answers to many of your immediate needs plus a great reference list of things we wish we had known when we first moved in. Trustees regularly create and circulate to the AR community online a list of condo owners with contact information. To communicate with the AR community online, here are some useful addresses:

Note: Please do not contact Peacock Properties directly with a request regarding association common areas. Contact a trustee and she/he will handle your request.

Also included are a number of helpful reference items including a map of Abbey Road and our local community, informal descriptions of the many important rules which are essential for condo living, plus a link to the complete legal governance documents. You will also find information about our management company, Peacock Properties, and how to create an account. Finally, you will find a tale about the Peace Memorial, that Abbey Road actually owns.

 

Repair or Maintenance

If you need to repair or maintain something in your condo, this website section can help. Find links to Abbey Road's appliance service manuals and some local service providers your neighbors have found useful. Also included is some very important information about our well water and septic system.

Governance

Our governance documents define the condo association legal structure, ownership of our community, and the sorts of rules and required courtesies which smooth the way for all to live in our community. This section includes essential legal information regarding our formal structure as Abbey Road Condominium Trust, as well as budget procedures, finances, insurance, and Trustee's role in management.

 

Our helpful summaries explain the gist of each document, but you can always follow links to the complete text including an easement granted to the Peace Memorial.
