Finances

This section provides essential information regarding our finances at Abbey Road Condominium Trust, including information on budget procedures.

Dues:

We all pay monthly condominium dues to live in this glorious garden. Your dues, which are based on the square footage of your unit, fund our annual budget and reserve account. Our annual budget is created by our Treasurer, Trustee Peggi Cohen, with input from the Trustees and any active committees, such as the Landscape Committee (chaired by Sara Wragge). Abbey Road is a relatively new condominium, and the trustees had worked a number of years to establish a comprehensive sense of our annual budgeting needs.

 

Payments:

Peacock Properties manages our finances with input from our Treasurer. Most owners set up an automatic payment through Peacock Properties. If your dues are not paid automatically, have not dropped off a check or paid by another method by the 15th of each month, a late fee is assessed.

 

Accounts: 

The Trust has a checking account and a reserve account. A percentage of your monthly dues is moved to the reserve account quarterly. 

  

Finances are discussed at our Trustee meetings (quarterly) and Annual Meetings which are open to owners and your input is always welcome. A copy of the annual budget and a year-end financial report is given to owners at the annual meeting.
